Terms of use

Last updated 18 September 2026

Short, and in plain language. Using wishes means agreeing to this.

What this is

A tool for making one short-lived page for one person and sending them the link. It is not storage: every card is built to disappear, so do not put anything here that you need to keep.

Sending needs an account: a confirmed email address and a password. Receiving needs nothing. Keep your password to yourself: anything done from your account is treated as done by you.

Paying for a card

Where a card is charged for, the price is shown on the button before you pay and is charged once, per card. Payment is handled by a payment gateway; we never see your card or UPI details. A card is published only after payment succeeds, and a failed or abandoned payment leaves your draft untouched. Because a published card is delivered immediately and expires within days, payments are not refundable once the link is live. If something went wrong, write to us and we will sort it out.

What you write stays yours

Your words and photos are yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the life of the card and nothing beyond that. We do not claim ownership of them, do not use them to train anything, and do not show them to anyone who does not hold the link.

What not to send

This assumes a person who wants to hear from you. Do not use it to:

You are responsible for what you send and for having the right to send it.

Reports and removals

Every card we email carries a report link, usable without an account. When something is reported we may take that card down and block a network from making more. We will not always explain why, and there is no formal appeal process; acting quickly on a harassment report matters more than ceremony.

Age

You must be 16 or older to use this.

What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it will be available, that mail will arrive, or that a card will survive its full lifetime. If that would matter, do not make this the only way your message arrives.

As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from using the service, including a card that failed to reach someone or reached the wrong person because a link was shared.

Ending it

You can stop whenever you like. Deleting a card removes it from your account and stops its link at once; left alone, it comes down of its own accord when it expires. We may remove a card or refuse service where these terms are broken or where we are required to.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top says when they last did, and continuing to use the service after that is how you accept the new version.

Getting in touch

hello@wishes.app handles reports, removals, payment questions, and anything mentioned on this page.

Written in plain English rather than by a lawyer. It describes what the service does; it is not legal advice and has not been reviewed against the law of any particular country.
